On January 27, 2007 evening Malik Saad laid down his life for the security of the people and integrity of the country. The province was stuck with grief and despair. Perhaps there was not any eye which was not wet. In the memories of martyr funeral ceremonies were held for many days. It was not difficult to guess that Malik Saad was so popular among the people. His love for games was evident from the fact that when commander Khalil ur Rehman was the governor of the province, Malik Saad and myself as a companion to him, proposed to the governor to establish Frontier Sports Trust with Malik Saad as its chairman. He started work on this proposal and even commander Khalil ur Rehman advised to intensify efforts in the formation of the said trust. During that time Malik Saad was martyred.
